The Practical Driving Test is designed to find out whether you can drive safely and without supervision on the road, and in order to be successful you must demonstrate to the examiner that you can do this.

The Practical Driving Test is quite straightforward. It is conducted from either Lampeter, Aberystwyth or Cardigan by a Driving Standards Agency examiner, and lasts approximately 40 minutes.

The test routes are designed to include a variety of typical road and traffic conditions.

Before the driving part of the Test begins, your driving licence will be checked, and your eyesight tested and the show me/tell me questions will be asked.
